EFT Tapping for Anxiety, Depression, Fibromyalgia, Weight Loss, Insomnia

EFT Tapping for Anxiety, Depression, Fibromyalgia, Weight Loss, Insomnia

We’ve all heard of yoga, meditation, and massage to de-stress, but what about Tapping? It’s zero risk, zero cost, and highly effective.

I first heard about Tapping on the Megyn Kelly TODAY show on January 16, 2018. Megyn was joined by Adrienne Cerulo, who said a healing technique known as Tapping freed her from four years of excruciating pain, and Nick Ortner from The Tapping Solution. Cerulo said she was still pain-free after two years, and Ortner led the studio audience in a demonstration of the technique.

How many times had I heard from Hypothyroid Mom readers struggling with fibromyalgia, anxiety, depression, weight gain, and insomnia? Too many to count. And here was a zero cost, effective treatment that required no doctors, no medications, no supplements, that was so simple to learn and do yourself. I was literally swept away as I watched this video below thinking about how many people could benefit from this technique? How many adults? And how many children?

You may be quick to dismiss Tapping, also known as EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). Your first reaction may be that this is all “woo woo”, but one quick look at the list of recent published studies at the bottom of this article will make you think twice.

Thyroid Hormone – The Most Overlooked Treatment For Fibromyalgia

Thyroid Hormone - The Most Overlooked Treatment for Fibromyalgia

A reader named Jules contacted me a few months ago with chronic pain from fibromyalgia so bad she was struggling to walk and to take care of her young son. Her symptoms included extreme swelling, fatigue, hair loss, pressure in her throat, and loss of the outer-third of her eyebrows. Anyone who has read my article 300+ Hypothyroidism Symptoms…Yes REALLY would consider hypothyroidism as a possible cause, and yet doctor after doctor insisted her thyroid was fine with a normal TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone). They insisted her symptoms especially her pain from fibromyalgia could not possibly be thyroid related. Turns out Jules had several large thyroid tumors pressing up against her throat. [Read more…]

Practical Ways To Use Your Sauna To Help Relieve Symptoms of Hypothyroidism

Infrared sauna for symptoms of hypothyroidism

Since creating Hypothyroid Mom in 2012, I’ve heard from reader after reader telling me that they feel better with regular use of infrared saunas. With one million people following Hypothyroid Mom it can’t be mere coincidence. Hypothyroidism symptoms are tough and it takes extraordinary strength to live them day in and day out. I’ve long wanted to include an article about how an infrared sauna can help with those difficult symptoms and I took my questions to the best in the industry, Sunlighten.

Can an infrared sauna help relieve symptoms of hypothyroidism? That’s the question.

An Old Fashioned Doctor’s Approach To Hypothyroidism

An Old Fashioned Doctor's Approach To Hypothyroidism

Oh how I wish the good old days of hypothyroidism, when doctors really listened to a patient’s symptoms, would come back again. Let me be blunt. The modern way of treating hypothyroidism sucks.
