MEASURES TO SUPPORT ACCESSIBILITY
Swim Brothers takes the following measures to ensure accessibility by:
- Checking our website to identify and correct accessibility issues
- Hiring web designers with accessibility training
- Using formal accessibility quality assurance methods
- Working with blind and low-vision colleagues who provide invaluable feedback on our website accessibility.
CONFORMANCE STATUS
Our present goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA guidelines.
As of October 7, 2024 we are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA.
Partially conformant means that some parts of our content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
KNOWN ACCESSIBILITY ISSUES
As part of our effort to address known accessibility issues we are:
- Reviewing pages to ensure that they are structured properly and accessible
- Providing adequate alternative text for linked images within our pages
- Assessing animated elements to determine if it’s necessary to reduce motion and/or forewarn users
- We are using a combination of self-evaluation and external evaluation in our remediation efforts.
