Exactly! And the same guys who set the original normal range are the same ones who are now saying they were wrong, and set the revised range, but the practicing doctors seem to be oblivious to the change, and some are just downright resistant when told or shown. It took me nine years of feeling like the walking dead and changing doctors five times to finally get an original starting dose of Armour 30 mg increased to 90 mg, which has been helpful, but I still feel lethargic most of the time unless I take Zantac Black diet pills for energy. I feel like I should surely feel better than this, but since my TSH is now down around .50 I’m scared to suggest changes for fear I’ll end up back where I was for so long! And what’s most aggravating about the whole mess is that we can all probably thank the powers that be who started, and now won’t stop, putting treacherous fluoride in our drinking water, even though it’s proven it does nothing to stop cavities when ingested, but is destroying other parts of our bodies!

In reply to <a href="https://hypothyroidmom.com/top-thyroid-medication-according-to-3665-hypothyroidism-patients/#comment-30982">Sara Jones</a>.

I feel for you Sara! I had three kids and hard to take care of self while raising them. You sound like me so I want to answer you.
Now 59, kids gone. 5 weeks ago found a book (Eat right for your blood type) and the app (blood type diet) Dr Peter D’Adamo. It’s brilliant! I began eating what is right for my blood type and in 4 weeks lost 10 lbs, and began to feel so much better. Inflammation subsiding all over my body. A week later (because of fasting, today is 4/21/22), I dropped another 10 lbs. I take NP thyroid, because can’t get armor. (Synthroid was terrible for me.) Cutting my NP thyroid meds in half while fasting. Intermittent fasting helped a lot prior to this week.
So happy with results in such a short time. Can’t wait to get blood test to see results of this diet change. My husband loves my new body (now at the weight when he met me 🥰 and getting/feeling better) Hope this helps you!
