Hi I was diagnosed with Hashimotos 32yrs ago I'm on T4 and T3 and really feel good except for a bladder infection every now and then that is uncomfortable. Could the Thyroid have anything to do or be the cause for the problem.

I am so happy to see this article! I was constantly tired after my Thyroid was removed and I went on thyroid replacement meds. I was use to this, but in Jan 2018 I developed a Pneumonia that would not go away and became so exhausted I couldn’t function. After several doctors ( Infectious Disease Doctors had no clue!) I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease, Bartonella, Mycoplasma, and Babesia from a tick bite. I am now on 3 different IV antibiotics and on home health. It is disgusting to me that a lot of Infectious Disease doctors do not test for these infections when you present with fevers, swollen lymph nodes, and a disabling fatigue. I had to demand that the doctors test me for these infections!
