I had a similar experience, I’ve struggled with weight gain, brain fog, rashes, hair falling out, exhaustion and all of the above. A rheumatologist is able to run labs to determine if and which autoimmune diseases are involved, they say that once you have one autoimmune disease you will be more susceptible to others. My hashimotos is accompanied by Lupus. I also feel that everything worsened/manifested after having had Covid, however, in retrospect some of the symptoms were present prior.
