How are you after treatment? I just had thyroid removed, waiting for after 1st of year for the iodine treatment. Waiting after Christmas to tell my kids, 15 & 10.

I just recently had my thyroid removed due to cancer and told I need iodine radiation and am struggling with the fact I won’t be able to be with my 4 and 2 year old. This has been a rough time but reading this has given me some hope to let my oldest in as they see mom cry and don’t know why❤️
