I have had a 6year battle with my thyroid. It has been super frustrating. I feel best on natural supplements, but my TSH is high. Pharmaceutics are good at lowering my TSH, however, i have tried 3different ones and had 4negative reactions. Synthroid:within 24hours of going on it, i had 2episodes where I could not breathe. Dr convinced me to give is another shot and I went from only missing periods to having every symptom of hypothyroid. As in, what other people take synthroid to get rid of I developed. Euthroxin: muscle pain in my leg that had me wake up screaming at night. Staying on it for a year and a half until i could not take it anymore. It affected my sleep, my energy and I gained 40pounds. Desicated thyroid: i was so excited to try this one. But it caused an adominal pain which put me off work for 3 days. Drs did everything from pee tests to a ct scan only to find out that everything in my body is great-except my thyroid. The mental andvemotional anguish was high as i was rushed for emergency tests to make sure my appendix was ok and to check my ovaries for cysts. This is also the only hypothyroid drug that did nothing for my TSH. I was on over the counter Thyrosmart and my TSH was 5.28. Went on this drug on June 10.Aug 30blood test showed my TSH at 6.14. I am so frustrated! I have never been on high doses of any of these and I take the medicine as directed. Has anyone else had these strughles? If so, how did you get your body to take the medication without adverse reactions?

I did, and I lost 45% of my hair! Thankfully, I realized it & stopped immediately. It took approximately one year for my hair to fully grow back in. It was devastating.
