Hi Linda, It sounds like you are in tune with food sensitivities. Keeping a food journal is very helpful. I agree with you that toxins play a role in thyroid health. The conversion of inactive T4 thyroid hormone, as found in the main levothyroxine thyroid medications prescribed, to the active T3 that is actually required by the cells happens in large part in the liver. You can quickly see that if your liver is congested from all the toxins it is trying daily to eliminate that it can then start to have a hard time efficiently doing that T4 to T3 thyroid conversion. I have found that infrared saunas have helped me a great deal. Now these days you can find infrared saunas in local gyms, spas, doctor offices, etc. Good to have you at Hypothyroid MOm. https://hypothyroidmom.com/10-reasons-to-use-infrared-saunas-for-thyroid-health/

hello I'was diagnosed with underactactive thyroid in 1986 I was given redaction through a straw to shrink my thyroid so I take 125 mcg daily of Levothyroxine I have been eating lots of whole foods: eggs, avocado, collard greens, green leafy veggies, spinach, string beans, Brazilian nuts, chia seeds, chick peas, blackberries, apples, pears, Greek yogurt, goat cheese, brown rice, chicken, salmon, sardines, beef once in awhile, I am still questioning other foods and researching more on my foods. I also keep a food journal that has helped me over the years of course there so much more research and learning on this journey. I do feel better and have come along way. I walk and do yoga along with breathing and meditation exercise. I sometimes have some joint pains but I do stretching and it seems to work also try reading labels carefully and stay detox often and watch my cleaning products too I really think that plays a big role in toxins in the air as well as our environment and food. it's been such a hard journey so please if there is any info you have to share with me I would really appreciate it 🙏🏽

I am an RN and have practiced for 30 years. Your sleeping only 3 hours a night is very unhealthy for you. Have you tried yoga and meditating ? The app Calm is a true blessing and also try a white sound machine. You will become diabetic if you do not get more sleep. Hope this helps! Karin
